Restore Performance Institute was founded in 2018 by two Riverside, CA natives. We believe that every individual is uniquely, and wonderfully made. We know that your body is adaptable, resilient, and strong. Change your beliefs, and you will change what is possible.

Fitness Center

We offer a variety of specialty fitness classes, and open gym hours. Our one hour classes are programmed and led by our certified fitness staff. Purchasing an RPI fitness membership gives you access to all of our classes, open gym, and a discount on our physical rehabilitation services. We offer both individual and family plans.

Strength & Conditioning - Consists of traditional strength training, mixed with metabolic conditioning, core, and cardio.

Boot Camp - Focuses of whole body conditioning utilizing body weight calisthenics, circuit training, resistance training, running and more.

Cross Training - Incorporates varied functional movements including Olympic weightlifting, resistance training, HIIT, cardio work and more for well rounded fitness .

Functional Body Building - Utilizes extensive weight lifting coupled with some metabolic conditioning focusing on lean muscle mass and strength.

Open Gym - A free time to work on whatever you like. Make up a missed workout or create your own.

Physical Rehabilitation

Whether you’re an athlete who’s suffered an injury, an orthopedic patient who needs assistance following surgery, or a mom who has chronic neck pain, we are here to help.

From assessing nagging pain to advanced outpatient physical therapy, we provide therapy for all musculoskeletal issues.

Our services include outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, post-operative care, spine care, sports rehabilitation, injury prevention, and work-related rehabilitation.

Personal Training

At RPI our certified fitness staff will work hand in hand with you to create a personalized program to meet your specific fitness, nutrition, and performance goals. We offer one-on-one , and semi-private training packages.

Meet the Team

Cameron Moreland

Cameron Moreland is an Owner, and the Director of Fitness and Performance at RPI. A native of Riverside, CA Cameron played soccer, was active in martial arts, and rode BMX freestyle. Cameron took his love of sports and human movement to academics where he earned a Bachelors, and Masters degree in Kinesiology from CSUF. Cameron is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT) and CrossFit Level 2 instructor (CFL2). Cameron has a beautiful wife and two children. They have been happily married for 24 years. During his free time Cameron loves to ride his mountain bike and play pickle ball.

Erik Salley

Dr. Erik Salley is an Owner, and Director of Physical Therapy at RPI. Dr. Salley has been practicing Sports Medicine for 29 years. He is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) , and credentialed in Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy through the McKenzie Institute. Dr. Salley employs an evidence-based model of whole-person care (Mind, Body, Soul, Spirit) for the care and treatment of his patients. Erik has been happily married for 29 years and has 4 Boys! With his free time Dr. Salley loves to surf, ski, and be outdoors.

Lisa Friesen

Dr. Lisa Friesen is the Director of Body Recovery Services at RPI. Dr. Friesen has been practicing Sports Medicine as a certified Athletic Trainer since 2004. She has worked in a variety of settings including High School, Division 1 Colleges, Performing Arts, and international Sports Ministry. In addition to being a certified Athletic Trainer, Lisa recently finished her PhD in Leadership Studies from CBU. She also holds certifications in Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM), Dry Needling (Structure and Function), Functional Movement Screening, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, and SportsMetrics (ACL Prevention Program). Lisa is passionate about providing care that incorporates the most current evidence, caring for the whole person (mind, body and spirit), and connecting patient goals to their treatment. In addition to working at RPI, Lisa is a Professor at California Baptist University in the department of Kinesiology and the Master of Athletic Training program. Lisa enjoys all things outside including the beach, running, and hiking. Her most recent adventure was summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
